Caillebotte

1877 – Yerres, just south of Paris. Camille often plays in the park where his father works as a gardener for the wealthy Caillebotte family. One day, Gustave Caillebotte asks him whether he can draw his portrait. Who is this painter who seems to see everything? They explore their region together and Camille joins him on a journey through the city of Paris: full of exciting boulevards, modern railway bridges, and citizens of all walks of life. He looks at the sketches in Caillebotte’s drawing pad and discovers a world full of life that Camille didn’t know about yet.
