Ever since I began working in the publishing industry, my wish is to connect people through thoughtful pictures and powerful stories. My aim is to make the world of book publishing a bit smaller, helped by the fact that I’m not impressed by boundaries: I was raised bilingual (French and Dutch) and have studied German literature both in Berlin and in Amsterdam, where I currently live. My love for carefully chosen words and masterfully crafted illustrations has helped me to become a passionate advocate for authors, illustrators and publishers who have stories to tell and – let’s be honest – books to sell.
