No potato should have to do anything!
How often as children did we hear an adult say, ‘You have to…!” But do we really always have to meet the expectations of others? In this story, a small potato doesn’t follow the path set out for it to become potato soup, but instead hops off to explore the world and find out what sorts of lives others lead. Some do useful or beautiful things, while others simply just exist. What will the little potato eventually become one day? One thing is sure, it is a miracle in itself, the miracle of life.
Birte Müller has finally created a new picture book, and, in a hyper digital world, used a traditional method that suits the story perfectly: potato prints.
