Do You See What I See?

A remarkable photo book that invites you to look at our everyday world with fresh eyes.
Grandad’s shed is full of the most wonderful and whimsical things. At first glance it may seem like nothing but a jumble of tools, but look a little closer and you might suddenly spot putty-knife fish, key-birds, cowboys, and acrobats!

Alongside her work as an illustrator, Tineke Meirink is known for her project Stop:Watch, in which she photographs ordinary objects she encounters in her daily life. With a tiny tweak, she reveals that nothing is quite what it seems. Her father was an enthusiastic DIYer, and while clearing out his workshop after his death, Tineke was inspired to do something creative with his beloved tools. The result is this beautiful ode to the power of imagination!
