Clinty Thuijls is an actress and author. She also writes scripts for television programmes including Sesame Street and Het Sinterklaasjournaal (Sinterklaas News). The first instalment about the adventures of Sjef and his grandad Opilopi was published in 2016 to rave reviews. Opilopi 2 was published in September 2017.
The drawings in Opilopi were created by cartoonist Argibald. He makes cartoons and illustrations on watercolour paper with dip pen and ink. His work has appeared in Humo, Propria Cures, and digitally on De Speld and Oneworld. In 2015 he was runner up for the StripGrafiekPrijs (Comic Art Award, Holland Animation Film Festival).
