Annabel Lammers grew up near the Dutch-German border surrounded by trees and books. She studied communication design and media art in Kiel. During her studies, she worked on projects in the fields of art, culture and education, and conceptualised, wrote and designed media for a wide variety of companies and institutes. In 2013 she became programme manager of picture book publisher Bohem Press AG and co-founded the German branch, Bohem Press GmbH, the following year. Alongside her career, she has always loved making up stories and has worked for art and literary events. She lives with her daughter in Münsterland.
